Marwood is the only up-market accommodation resort in Halls Gap that includes a restaurant as part of its service.   As "foodies" ourselves we enjoy preparing simple and complex dishes, many including ingredients from our own garden, and sharing with our guests an experience that is quite different to anything available anywhere else.   Just the place for that special occasion

At night the grounds are floodlit to enhance their natural beauty.    Nocturnal  animals visit frequently and chattering birds settle in the gum trees for the evening.

The ambience of the restaurant is intimate, casual and relaxed.

Reservations need to be made well in advance because dishes are specially prepared and presented with passion and care from a repertoire that is discussed with you in advance.

During spring, summer and autumn a pre-dinner drink, perhaps on the patio overlooking the lake is a  delightfully relaxing way of easing from the day into the evening.  During the quiet winter months the restaurant is closed.

The restaurant is exclusive to Marwood's guests but for the even more reclusive we can provide platters, and barbeques, breakfast baskets and bar service directly to your villa.

Good food, good company and evocative surroundings all add up to a total experience, and when that is complemented by an extensive list of top quality Grampians wines then you have all the ingredients for a memorable occasion.
